I just got some albino corys- they are really neat!
Just looking for some feedback as to what you feed them. I'll be making a trip to the lfs soon...

50 in one tank! That must have been entertaining!
I didn't realize I would like them so much, I'm pleasantly suprised!

What size tank did you have the 50 in cocoa_pleco? I'd love 50 cories...lol... Ours eat our slow sinking tropical food, algae wafers, and veggies

I'm going with NLS h2o stablewafer, Big Al's Sinking Spirulina Tablets, and frozen blood worms when I get mine..
How many did you get?

I have 11 that are heading towards 50 lol, if they keep breeding at the rate they've been have babies, they'll take over the tank. Anyway, I feed my corys Tetra sinking granules, algae wafers, veggies, and shrimp pellets, they absolutely go nuts for shrimp pellets, but shrimp pellets are very messy. Sometimes I give them frozen shrimp too!

I have a small school of 4 and my rotation includes Hikari wafers (for bottom-feeders), spirulina pellets and flakes, algae wafers, and an occasional frozen bloodworm treat.
I've never had much trouble with these guys eating....they seem to be pretty hardy eaters.....not fussy at all.

Mine get shrimp pellets as a staple but also, being alot faster than most of my other fish, get flake and all the foods I feed my apistos, tetras, otos and bristlenose.
Mine get those Hikari sinking wafers... My corys totally love them! Other than the wafers, they pretty much eat anything else that's at the bottom of the tank. I sprinkle Hikari daphnia into the tank every so often, but I have no idea if the corys ever get a chance to snack on them, since my other fish go nuts for those freeze-dried critters! I wish some place sold NLS here, but unfortunately nobody does :ssad:

If you have very fine gravel or sand you can use hikari micro pellets .To get them to sink just release them under water. They are sized perfectly for corys.Dont do it this way if you have anything other then fine substrate ,it will get in the rocks to far for them to get it.

I feed mine NLS water stable wafers, shrimp pellets, cucumber, and they eat any NLS pellets that my tetras or blue rams miss.

Thanks everybody! :19:
I have 6 in my 29g and 4 in my 10g. They all seem happy and I'd like to keep them that way!
How do you prepare the cucumber?
