What's the skinny on clown loaches?

Well, I may try a couple of clown loaches. Never had them before, so I was just wondering how many I should get? I have often heard that they very easily contract ich, but any moreso than other fish?? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

theyre prone to ick, but only under stress. They need groups of 6+, and get large, so for a group youre looking at a 150g+. however, theyre slow growers, so 6 could be housed in a 75g-90g comfortably for a few years

Ah....O.K. so my tank is a bit too small for them. Glad I asked about them. Maybe I will go with some panda corys to complete the community and t replace the 2 eaten bosemanis.
