My seven-year-old beat me to the punch this morning. He got up early (before me), noticed our female guppy giving birth and quickly put her in the breeder. Now, instead of nature taking its course (ahem) with the fry, they are all having a blast in our breeder, being hand fed 'first bites'.
He just sent me an email (at work now) and says he's counted 37 of them.
WTH am I going to do with all these darn guppies !
keep them or feed them 2 ur big fish

Ahhhh, kids!
Raise 'em (the guppies), it's fun!
You can just give them away to your lfs after they are 4 weeks of age, or you can wait for 10 weeks when they are fully grown, you may be able to make some money off it, even if it is just a couple bucks store credit.
Until then, feed bbs for the next couple days, then switch back to an alternating diet of bbs and first bites. You can also give egg yolk, infusoria, micro worms and daphnia.
Give them a ton of protein for the first week, it is when they are developing their muscle structure.

I'm a bit worried I'll overload my tank if I keep 'em all.
I guess this is just the nature of the beast when you keep livebearers.
Well, I have a few weeks to figure it out, lol. I'd go get another tank, but I think they'd just keep going at it and would soon outgrow that tank.
Me thinks a few might get put in the tank with the angels when my son isn't looking :27:

If you're doing to do that you'll need a plausible lie.
Tell him they spontaneously combusted........underwater.
It's possible.

You gotta watch those guppy fry. They'll jump right out of the breeder, particularly later in the evening when the children are snoozing...
