Stupid Test Strips/Cycling

I'm still using those crappy test strips...anyway, it keeps saying my ammonia is at .5 which is lower than what it was despite the fact that my nitrites has gone up and down to being now at 0 and my nitrates are at about 20-25 or so because of my water changes. Stupid test strips and lack of money to get better ones. Do you think I'm cycled and I just can't tell because my ammonia test strips are so hard to read and suck in general?

I've never seen a test strip that didn't read at least .25. Just for kicks one time I had Petsmart run water tests on my water one time and they showed .25 ammonia: it was my Discus tank! LOL That tank hasn't had an ammonia reading in over a year. To add to that, I ran tests on it before I took it to Petsmart.
