Here's a brief update on the issue I've been having with gourami aggression in my 29gal.

I bought a new hood yesterday, as mine had gone on the fritz, and since the blue gourami can see what he's doing again he's been chasing the other two around the tank once again. I did purchase a large cave and put it on the other side of the tank in hopes that the other gouramis could take refuge there. It's been 24hrs and my pleco has checked it out, along with my albino cory cat. I even got a rock-style cave that is orange-ish gold in colour with hopes they would associate with it (can fish even see colour?), but they haven't even really gone near it. I noticed that my filter was directing the stream of water directly at the cave, so I moved it in hopes that the direct stream of water might've been what they didn't like. Still, nothing. They're currently lurking closer to it, so hopefully they'll begin checking it out soon.

Also, most of you posted that I should raise the temp of my tank as well. I put the heater back in and have it set at 79F. Would y'all consider this to be a good, stable temp? The reason I had taken it out in the first place was due to the fact that it seemed to be creating too MUCH heat, no matter what temp I had it set on. We'll see if it still has this problem, and I'll post back. Currently it's at 78. :D

I need to find my camera so I can take a photo of the set-up!
I'm going to be putting more plants in the tank as well, even though I already have a pretty decent amount.
