Here is a poll I havnt seen in the past.Vote for your fav sword and state why .If you have a good pic of your fav you have then post a pic.Mine is the Amazon sword,I have 3 at the moment that are looking fabulous.10199

I had to go with Micro, mine are doing well. On a side note I am very dissapointed with my melon swords :scry: they are not very red OR green, more of a mud brown

more light means more red,especially if you have an iron rich substrate.

Loved my Red Rubins when I had them. They were a great piece in my 125. Other than that I love Echinodorus uruguayensis, they are a beautiful plant.

The swords just seem too overbearing, to me.

yeah, I have a feeling it is my substrate. I use a mix of gravel / flourite instead of pure flourite.

Light shouldn't be a problem since I am running 3.4wpg while supplementing flourish, excel, and iron.

I have a mix as well,only a third fluorite.Do you use anything to add co2?I use excel.

tennelus are great they are taking over the front of my tank...ive had them just over a month and i have 4 runners =)

call me old fashioned but i love the normal ol amazon sword (E. Bleheri) heres a pic of 1 of mine this guy was taller than the tank when i got him but had to trim it way back, now its just a short fat boy lol

My favorite has to be the Brazilian sword , I just love how big it is.
