Here are some pics of some soft corals growing on the sides of the glass in my tank:
Green star polyps (GSP):

yeeeaaahh! i love it:19: I want to grow sponges on my glass the only thing is that if air hits them during water changes i'm screwed

Looks great! Do you have a FTS posted anywhere? I can't picture what the rest of your reef looks like. All the individual coral shots I've soon look amazing.

awesome, i wish my anthelia would cover the glass, its pretty much covered everything else. lol

to get them on the glass use putty they will grow evetually off the putty and onto the glass

They'll also eventually spread to the glass if placed within an inch of it, at least that's how it happened for me.
For some reason, which I can't figure out, the 'stalks' of the anthelia growing on the glass is much shorter than the stalks of the colony when on the live rock. Off the glass the stalks are maybe 0.25"-0.5" in length, as opposed to 6-8" (which is good in a way, as it doesn't obstruct the view as much..at least not yet).
