How to tell green terror male or femle

Is there any color marking where I can tell the difference between sex?

I have two, one about 4 inches and the other 3 , was suppose the male and femle, but not so sure since there alittle older.

Most SA/CA cichlids have longer extensions at the ends of the dorsal and anal fins with males more colorful. Do they not look different enough to be different sexes?

Sexing is not difficult. Males are the larger sex but contain less brilliant coloration. Males also develop longer, more pointier dorsal and anal fins with age. Females of the species are more likely to display orange patterns on their bellies and dorsal fins. -- pulled this off another site.
