Hi, I'm Michelle.
I was introduced to fishkeeping as a young child by my father who had what I can only remember as roughly to be a 10 gallon tank in the living room which held, amongst others, a beautiful catfish of some sort (sorry memory wasn't good at that age). As I grew older I always had your standard fish bowl with your standard gold fish as I was restricted in space in my bedroom. Once I met my husband and moved to a house of my own I acquired my first larger freshwater tropical tank, an AquaEL hexagonal Aquarium 60 litre, (well to me it was large because I was only used to the little fish bowls). I had that for about a year until I bought my Juwel Vision 180 which I still have running 4 years later with most of the original inhabitants including my precious 16 inch common Pleco Peter and my 14 inch Leopard Sailfin Pleco Stimpy. I have kept the decoration to a bare minimum for maintenance sake but I am now in the process of updating the tank slowly starting out hopefully with a sand substrate.
Anyways, I think you are all bored by now so I'll leave it at that.
Once again hello to everyone and I look forward to conversing with you all.
Michelle.
