Just saw my shrimp molt

Don't know how rare it is to actually see it but i did.

Little guy looked sick and hunch backed. Then all of a sudden he just popped out his back and swam free of it.

My ghost shrimp molted today, I must have missed it by a half hour at the most, which is a shame. I saw him sitting there in front of the tank, then when I came back not long after there was just his hollow shell where he used to be, and he was looking spritely and active on the other side of the tank. It's great that you caught it at the right time.

I'm telling you this took about 5 seconds to happen.

I'm not sure how long it was sitting getting ready to do this but when i saw it it just felt like i witnessed something special.

I'm really surprised it's that quick. With all the long little arms and feelers they have, you'd think it'd be a long and delicate process. In any case, you're a lucky guy.
