Jag confusion

My two Jags when i got them HATED each other, the larger one (5 1/2 inches) would always go out of its way to chase the smaller one (4 inches)
and now they're rarely out of the cave i made them out of rocks, and when they are they swim happily, whats up with them?

I wouldn't be too concerned with their hanging around their home. I've found Jags to be not a very active fish unless hunting for food
