Hehe, I love cars. Old cars at that. Only pic I'm going to submit is my ex's pick up. I loved that car.. the only thing I miss about the guy is his car! :hmm3grin2orange:

Oh yeah, despite the way it looks it worked like a charm.. unless either of us managed to break the drive axle while off roading. Or something else. =P This is also the only car I've done a few loops with, down a quite high gravel mound. Someone forgot to tell me to use the brakes BEFORE hitting the top of the gravel mound.. so we went flying right over it and somersaulted our way down the other side. The windshield and the transmission got busted, but we managed to limp back home (60 km) at a whooping average speed of 30 kmph ;)
edit: brakes, not breaks.. *rolls eyes*

I love cars and such. Right now I am driving a 04 WRX but I'm thinking of trading it in for a jeep.

It's one of 300 moto guzzi rosso mandello V11 sports. It's soooooo much fun and so fast compaired to cars (there are many bikes that are much faster).
i have lots of friends who race around hear do you? I am thinking about building a nice 9 to 10 second eagle Talon. My friend owns one pretty nice but my real goal is the Toyota Supra 98' single turbo!

Just love cars and bikes, especially the big old yank iron, among my fav's are 57 Chev sports tudor, 56 ford pickup, and 68 Camaro.
I have a 1964 EH Holden I have had for 20yrs, but my daily drivers are a 1987 XF falcon ute, and a 2000 AUII falcon sedan (the falcon over here is similar to your taurus I think).
On 6th Jan I am heading to the summernats in Canberra, its the biggest car show in Aus, and one of the biggest in the southern hemisphere

I've seen some wrx's beat even fast bikes off the line. But not much will beat a fast bike in a quarter and I don't know of anything that will beat a fast bike flat out. Throw in some curves and a car may have a shot but on the straights the car is going to lose every time. (drag cars being the exception)

Supra is a helluv a car. I have seen some very fast awd turbo talons out and about here. That would be a nice car to start with. I've raced a little but not much. Mostly just when I meet a car at a light that wants to go. I don't go out on friday nights and do the fast and furious thing, too many cops and kids that cant drive for that.

i have witnesed plenty of cars that flat out kill fast bikes and in quater miles the only thing is that most of them are track driven. There is a 350 z that i cant remember who it was produced by but it can beat just about any bike i know. A supra video ive watched with a super fast hyabusa got spanked. I dont really care for mustangs ... actually i hate them but 4 sec..quater of mile is pretty good off muscle. I'll try and fined some videos and put them in the video section hope others don't get mad because they aren't about fish.

I know some track driven bikes that will beat just about everything too. Found here [Only Registered Users Can See Links.] All I'm saying is that 99% of the bikes out there will beat 99% of the cars on the road. I know there are exceptions (like that monster lexus) but I'm sure you could find a bike somewhere that could beat it. It's hard to beat the power to weight ratio on a bike.
if there are any bikes less than 4sec. in quarter of miles they are cool only heard of couple and you know the only reason bikes get off the way they do is because of how light they are. Putting the same turbo in a car in a bike is a lot different but i always pay respect to both ends because we have some hard workers that work on both bikes and cars out there.
Supra's rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
