Are there any cichlids that will do good in a 10 gallon tank?

Only ones I can think of are the small rift lake shell dwelling cichlids...1 male and 3-4 females.

I agree with Fishalicious, the shell dwelling species would be an excellent fit but there are a few apistogramma you might try. A. borelli would be a good starter. Or you could look into a pair of checkerboards, those would work, might be a little tight though.

green blue ram do great in 10 gallons or you can get balloon ram

I would avoid the rams unless you want to keep a solitary specimen. Male rams are fairly aggressive towards females, especially during breeding, and a 10 gallon tank doesn't provide enough space for a female to hide or escape from being attacked.

In a 10 gallon you might try 1 ram and maybe a school or 6 or 8 small schooling species.

And Balloon rams aren't the easiest fish, in the selective breeding process that produces them the rams can have all sorts of internal organ problems, from scrunched up organs to missing them completely.
