seriously though all my tanks get indirect sunlight thats unavoidable, so instead of driving myself crazy trying to fight off the green algae, i just let it go on the back real thick so i dont need a background, looks great usually only takes a month or two.

Before i got the tb... all my tanks were covered in it....i had to clean the fronts like 3 times a week, but i didnt mind at all it was so beautiful and green.

scraping it off in the tub almost made me cry honestly. I was seriously upset about having to scape it. lol im a loser:laugh1blue:

The substrate cover looks like needle grass or hair grass, eleocharis acicularis
Or, it could be eleocharis parvula, or even acorus grameneus, Japanese dwarf rush. Pity that the site doesn't list the planting per tank.

It almost makes me want to try a white background even though that's not exactly what he's using.

I think he's in a studio where a couple feet away he has a white backdrop and large lights to make it look so cool.

I'm just trying to figure out a way to make mine look even the slightest closer to some of those.

When I clicked on the photos to see an enlarged view, underneath the picture it gives all the stats for the tank. He has listed filtration, water parameters, CO2, the fish and all plantings, etc.
