Glad to be a member. I've never posted a question, but I find the site to be very useful.

I'm on my third tank. 39 gallon. Angels, platys, mollies, a few cats and algae eaters.

Having a great time with the hobby, however....

I am having a PH problem. I cannot for the life of me get the ph to 7.0. Heck, I'd settle for 6.8. All my water conditions are good and my city's tap water is fine. For whatever reason my tank can't get past 6.2-6.4

Other than that...I'm glad to be a part of this group!

Why not get the 7.0 pH stabilizer?

hola. mucho gusto. Try using a small amount of malawi buffer. Start with like 1/4 the normal amount and add it to the water BEFORE you add it to your tank to watch how it stabilizes. You can use a large bucket with a powerhead overnight to see some more accurate results.
