No. Vegas is too busy for me. I don't like people that much. LOL I used to fly from FL to Biloxi once a month and gamble at the Grand Hotel, tho, and lost plenty. Also hit the Indian casino's here in MI now and then. The Grand was that hotel left sitting in the middle of the street after Katrina blew thru. It's the one they had to blow up to let traffic thru. I was in several in Biloxi.

My mother was a gambler, too. She had $28,000 stashed under her bed that I found when she died. She couldn't put it in the bank because she lived in a senior subsidized housing apartment. LOL

me personally, i don't gamble. i just don't see a point in it. like the lottery for instance, it's designed so that the vast majority will fail. your chances of winning is slim to none. same thing with the casinos and at the track. i have a friend who spends thousands and thousands of dollars on those scratch off games per year. i think he's won maybe 2 times. what a waste of money! you could give it instead, to say the homeless or help someone out or something!

About 10 years ago my best friend hit the Georgia lottery for $150,000. I've never played the lottery and I have no idea what games are which, but he matched 5 out of 6 numbers. He got a check in his name for $99,000 after taxes and whatnot.

Last year my boyfriend and I went to Atlantic City since I've never been to any casino towns. The atmosphere, lighting, and environment was really bright and shiny and pretty, but it wasn't what I expected at all. I guess I watch too much tv and I expected everyone to be beautiful and glamorous with evening gowns and men in tuxes. In fact, everyone was old and worn out and trashy looking, and they looked so desperate sitting at the tables and machines. I was kinda grossed out by this so I went and hung out at the restaurants instead.
