I have a 90 gallon that currently has an ornate bichir an albino bichir and a black ghsot knife all between 5 and 8 inches. It is heavily decorated with drift wood and I wanted to add some south american cichlids I was wondering if the following would all get along, a pair of geophagus jurapari, a pair of blue acara and a pair of cupid cichlids. I have also consider rams but I was worried that they dont get large enough to avoid the mouth of my ornate bichir.

i personally wouldn't get any more than what you have presently. ghost knives get pretty massive. maybe if you got a bigger tank for the three you own presently and then another for the species you listed. as far as compatability, can't help you there--sorry.--jeff

i know one thing the fish you want to put together 'are' fine and the rams are going to cause problems. Space and size.
