So I'm not all that new to how to take care of my golden dojo (loach) but i have been curious about breeding them. Now i think my problem is that i don't know if they are in a correct surroundings to breed. And i also understand that fish have their own times when they want to breed. But to be sure that they are comfortable and are happy i just don't know what to look for.
I also have a 7 1/2 inch- dinosaur bichir and I've been thinking about raising another bichir and was wondering would it be a bad idea to try and have them breed together even though my male has been alone for about a year. Because at first i was thinking that it would be a good idea to have them in the same tank but with a tank separator to see how they would react before my male tries to kill my new bichir/female. He has in the past been with another bichir but she died while changing her water she had stressed too much and died.
