Hi
I have one blue dwarf gouramis and one flame dwarf gouramis. Both males.
I also have 3 females.
The question is how do you tell what type(colour) of female that you have. All three are the silver gray colour. One just in the last week has plumped up and is showing a few blue strips.
Is that the only time that you have colour in the females is when they are ready to spawn?
Should I only breed her to the blue male? If you cross over the colours what happens?
I know with Bettas, you shouldn't cross the tail types or you will end up with what we call mutts.
Thanks for any help.
Catherine
