My bf's betta fry are almost 6 weeks old --when does it become a juvie??

I know it was kind of a strange question -- but that's me!!!
We were having a discussion and didn't know whether to call our little guy a fry or juvenile!! LOL

to me, juvie is when you can identify the features of the fish (eyes, basic body form, etc), and the fish arent tiny dots like fry are. yours are probably juvies

I would say its a juvenile when you have to seperate them

it is a juvenile as soon as you can identify it as a particular species of fish....
