Finally got around to getting a couple of angelfish.

The first pic is of 'Midnight'...

The second is the whole tank....

Kind of a crowded, jumbled tank, but we're still working with it...LOL...

Thats very cool,I love all angels and black ones are especially neat.BTW,are you aware that plant in the front left of your tank is not aquatic.They can live for awhile submerged though,when it starts to look wilty remove it,it wont come back.

Smaug - thanks for the tip. I'd seen something on dracaena sanderiana in a post a few weeks ago. I figured I'd do what you suggest, just keep watching it and as soon as it looks a bit ragged, to yank it all out.

I fell for the old "let's put it in the fish section in a plastic container along with the real aquatic plants and see if anyone buys it" trick.

It's a shame, I kinda like the way it looks.

By the way, I wanted to thank everyone for the comments. I'm still new at this and it's always nice to hear a positive comment.

I'm not normally one to post pictures etc, but I was thinking about most of my posts here, and I think they're mostly about water quality and not fish ! Time to step back and smell the algae and enjoy my fish for a bit !!

that's a cool looking little fella, I really like the way that tank is set up... What a nice home for such a nice Angel. Angels are the best IMO, they have the most personality, but they can also be naughty little fish, lol
