The last of my weather loaches went belly up last night. I am assuming the cause of death was old age. The lot of them were a few years old when I got them, and I had them for 6 years or so now. I am sad that they are gone though, they were cool loaches and very friendly.

This was him, just a few days ago.

I'm sorry for your loss!
For many of us, our fishes are almost like a family member.

sucks. I remember when I had my upside-down catfish. He was a cool guy, about 6 inches. He lived in his cave 99.9999999 percent of his life, but sometimes I took his cave away so he would learn to be calmer. Onetime, after I took his cave away, he hid up to the very top of the tank, against the glass, beside some bushy floater plants. One of my friends came into the room that day, and yelled "theres a dead fish!!". He wasnt dead, but it was pretty scary.

I too have lost fish. Sorry for your loss. :dog:

You can get really attached to your fish after having them for that many years. I was sad after i lost my 2 albino cories and ive only had them for 3 weeks now. Sorry.
