tough to say. Gourami are one of those types of fish that tend to have different personalities. I had some pretty mean ones, too. The best thing you can do for now is to separate her from the main tank into your hospital/quarantine/emergency tank. You can then try introducing a male into that tank and see how they do with each other.
If you don't have a spare tank to put her in, then you can either take her back to the store or experiment with adding males in your main tank. Just be sure to keep a close eye any time you're adding tankmates. Unfortunately, some fish will just be stubborn, but you never know when one just maybe....maybe... might settle down and become nicer.
Good luck to you.
(also, is she targeting a specific fish or is it all of them who come near her?)

If you can figure out a fish that would be more aggresive (but not overly aggresive for your tank) to put the gourami in her place that might work. I had my 5" gourami with an Oscar and the oscar put him in his place, ever since then he has been fine

I had the same issue with a 3 spot, and finally had to get rid of it because she would attack anything that I would put in the tank. A lot of 3 spots tend to be hit and miss as far as attitude wise.

true. gouramis can be very aggressive. they seem to be very prone to disease as well- more so than a lot of others
