I recently purchased a used 55 gallon setup, and one thing it came with was a python, but it didn't come with any way to hook it up to a sink. Is there any place to buy parts? Thanks for any help

petsmart has the parts, and they sell the upgraded metal fittings too. home hardware has the parts too, and ebay also does

Honestly i'm pretty sick of my python...just too cheaply made in every part for it to be any use. When i get the time i'm just going to make my own setup that will do the same because it's pretty simple...just don't do it out of the cheapest plastic around.
So you said it didn't come with anything to hook up to the sink so does that mean you just have the hose? or do you have the green siphon part? I replaced the plastic adapter with a copper one bought in the sink department at lowes. now i can tighten the thing super tight without worrying about it breaking....except i broke the siphon part the next time i used it....

I bought a sink adapter quick connect at home depot, a little pricey but it works and is much nicer then lugging buckets. I had to also get a 20 foot garden hose to reach my sink, but now i can change water in all the tanks without lifting a thing:hmm3grin2orange:

I haven't used the t section green piece in years. I just hook mine directly to the faucet. When I drain my tanks I just hang it out the window.

Were in an apartment, but that would be a good idea when we get a house, we could water the plants with it.
