New Kenyis!!!

I got 2 new female 2" kenyis 2 days ago. they are very outgoing. I posted the thread "new electric yellow question". they never showed interest in me untill the kenyis arived. now they all follow my hand and when i walk by i see this: :18: :18: :18: :18: (should be 1 more smiley) LOL

I've got a few kenyi's and I love them. The only issue is that the one's I get always seem to turn out to be males. A few months after I get them, they start turning and yellow (and mean)!

i'm probably going to get a male kenyi and a trio of blue johannis(2 female 1 male).

Hope you have a big tank. Kenyi shouldn't be kept in anything less than a 75g. tank. One male to 4-5 females to keep them more peaceful. They're suppose to get really wicked aggressive too.

I have some in a 55g. and haven't had any problems out of them yet but I guess they aren't breeding age yet. That's when all the trouble is suppose to start. I am working on getting a bigger tank.

hey what do you think the best hikari food i should use is for my yellow haps and kenyis? growth is my main priority.

I dunno. I use New Life Spectrum 1mm sinking pellets. The fish do great on it. I did buy my daughter some Hikari Gold for her blood parrot.
