Boil Lettuce

How many minutes i have to boil the lettuce and the peas before i can feed my clowns?

ok but how does the lettuce and the peas have to look dark? more green? or brown i never do it so i think a have to know.

I think it shoudl just be soft enough so that the fish can easily get a piece with their mouth.

Me too - and I just cook the peas enough the easily take off the skin... none of the fish had a problem with that! I don't make my lettuce TO soft - it grosses me out! haha

I also blance my fresh spinach, cucumbers and zucchini. It will sink when you blanch it. 3 minutes in a bit of water in the microwave is all.

I usually just stick lettuce in the freezer for about 5 minutes and then it goes all soft. I never blanch cucumber or peas as they have no probs eating them raw, and raw veggies have much more nutrients than blanched ones.

I don't know if I blanch or not - I put them in micro for 30 sec to 1 min --- not fruit, though. I do it to make it a little softer but not to soft. I guess I'm the mid point ! LOL

Finally yesterday i cant have to wait until th night to boil the lettuce, cause when i arrive to my house at the afternoon i see 2 of 6 of them eating like in allu can eat buffe.
So i ran to the fridge an put a cup of water in the microwave for 2 min the i dib the lettuce for about 15 seconds.
wait a bit and then submerge it to the tank in a few seconds those little sweet kidz start to bite leaving my glossostigma.

Today im gonna try with mmm peas.

It felt Amazing see those guys eating
