Fry Question

My baby guppies are now about 20 days old. I am sad to report the father just pasted away today.. but I had some questions about the fry. I can tell some of them are getting color about 1/4 have an all black tail like their mother and some others like my other female guppy that I didnt know had fry lol but when will I first be able to sex them and when will the males start getting a big colorful tail like their father?

The males, even as fry, have a gonopodium; a modified anal fin used for copulation. It's easy to see, but you may have to look carefully at the little fry to pick it up.
