Hay:-), any of you guys know how long it takes for a male green terror to get that fatty growth on its hed?, it seems like my green terror hasn't grown a bit in the past few months... and cant sex it without the fatty bump thing, he's about 4'' and never mated so if it was a female then it would still be growing wouldn't it
 thanks for any ideas

Can't tell ya as I've never had one but most fish have growth spurts. I can only judge by my firemouths.
At 7 months, I have two males that are the same size as the 2 year old female..both 5 inches and she's about 5 1/2". But, I have another female purchased at the same time as these two males that is small and remains small. She's only about 4 inches and hasn't grown any in the last few months. Seems odd that my largest and my smallest in the tank are the females and it doesn't make them easy to sex. You could very well have a female.

Green terror has a very slow growth rate. It took almost a year for my male green terror to grown 4.5 infh. It was a small tank though 40 gallon, I had to give it away. :(

I am playing the same waiting game with my severum. He/She is 3" or so. It has a little blue on it's face, but it still looks female. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Shure hope it is male thay are much more fancy than femals,
Re: severums, if your severums got a rounded anal fin at the tip its female.. Males tend to have a longer flowing anal fin that ends in a point at the tip (imo)
