I traded my Yo-yo loach in to the LFS for some barbs. I got 2 beautiful large Tiger Barbs for free and bought 3 Moss barbs 2 of which are almost blue. When they get settled in I will take pics.

Just picked up 3 more Tiger Barbs. The 2 Tigers I got last night are REALLY big, the 3 I got today are medium and the green ones are tiny. They make a lovely school though. Hoping to get some pics today.

I cannot wait to see your pictures...I nearly bought 6-8 today for small 18 gallon tank that I have for plants...glad to see that you bumped the group size up a bit. Nice!

I plan to add some albino tiger barbs if I can find them.

Here's one pic so far. It's all but one of the Barbs. I love the little green ones.

Nice picture of your barbs! I like the green ones very much. Are they adults or juvvies? The green Sumatrans (literal Dutch translation and probably not correct) ones I saw today look really cool when little, but their green colouring seems to fade and nearly turn a blue-green when older, but I noticed yours a coloured a bit differently. I will struggle all week in which ones to get for my small tank LOL.

I love the boisterous fun Barbs...such a shame they are such fin nippers or hyper or I would have them in my tank also :41: Thanks for sharing the lovely pics

The green ones are .5"-1" total length. The biggest barb is about 2". The greens may loose some color, but they should remain really shiny. They are fun to watch. Also, they have distracted my Severum from picking on my Kribs. No fin nipping yet.
