I'm sorry guys! I don't know if I'm worrying too much, or my danios are just odd.

Everything I've read says their tank region is top, top-middle. My danios are usually at the bottom! They come up when they realize their food is sinking.

I'm getting a little frustrated as my danios are not acting anything like I thought. (I had that bully danio)

If I need to "chill" please tell me! I just want to get this right, and not harm any fish in the process.

Thanks

what's your tanks temperature? how good is your filtration? these both can play a factor in where the fish like to "hang out" in the tank

Are they still the only fish in there? Frequently while tanks are still stocked lightly fish are more likely to hide because they do not see other fish safely swimming around.

Danios cruise the whole tank. If they're healthy, don't worry about it.

Yup. They are still the only ones in there. My ammon. is stuck at .5 and nitrite at .25 right now,(even with a water change) so I'm working on that before I add any more.

My temp is at 76 and I use Fluval 305, and I have a bubble wand for lots of bubbles (they love it)

Other than keeping to the bottom for the most part, they seem fine.
I'll keep my eye on them. :)
