Here are some test results from my tank. Not sure if I should be concerned about them so I'm seeking input.
Ph = 8.0
Amonia = 0
Nitrates = < 2.5
Nitrites = 0
Calcium = 325
Alk = 16
Seems odd to me that the Alk is so high but I'm not sure if I should do anything about it. I've been dosing with Bionic for about the last 2 weeks straight. Should I cut out the alk part and just dose calcium now? A guy that I talked to mentioned Turbo Calcium to bring up that number. Thoughts?

You can just dose calcium until alkalinity goes down to where you want it to be then resume the part a/part b applications.
Do you have any stony corals?

Agreed. You Alk is too high and your Ca is too low. Your Alk should be down around 7-9 and your Ca should be 400-450. Just a wild guess, you don't happen to use Instant Ocean for your salt mix do you?

Yeah I do actually, how did you guess?

IO is notorious for low Ca levels, that's why I don't use it. I use Oceanic, but that is high in Ca but a tad low in Alk. One of the best out there is Reef Crystals, I've also heard good things about Kent. However, if you do decide to switch, I would recommend doing it slowly.

Man... I wish I woulda known that sooner. I'll have to switch later down the road though. I have a pretty good amount of the IO sitting around right now.
