Hi guys, i need help selecting a food for My electric yellow's and possibly electric blue's. They are each only 2" long so i'll need a small enough food for them. The food of I end up purchasing needs to be color enhancing. I Also need to get Hikari:thumb: ,(it's my fav brand) i don't like most other brands:stongue: . Currently, they are eating my big cousin's(he lives with me, he is like my big bro) frozen brine shrimp, he is mad at me for using his shrimp:stongue: so i need to get my own food ASAP. So guy please help me pick out a Hikari food for my electric yellows.

Theres a lot of foods out there. Hikari is good, and Dainichi puts out a really good color enhancing pellet which is very good from what I hear/read. The Spectrum foods are good, ive seen before and after pictures and the yellow's really stood out, very vibrant.

My one is a little under 2'' and he has no problem with the mini pellet as its just the right size to go in its mouth

Since they are Mbuna try Hikari Excel which is a vegetarian diet. It is for African Cichlids...If you feed them too much brine shrimp they can get bloat and die. I only feed my fish frozen or live foods once every other week or so to clean out there system. I use Hikari Excel floating in the morning and feed with NLS cichlid sinking formula in the evening. The NLS is 1mm which should be fine...my cardinal tetras can eat them (this is only when I give my Cacatuoides a pinch every now and then). I would stay away from Brine Shrimp as much as possible to avoid major problems. However, if you get a Tang tank high protein is a good thing. I know New Life Spectrum gets pushed around here frequently...my fish reap the benefits of it. They won't stop breeding...I am going to have to put them back on the cheap stuff :) Here's the Cpt.
