People are busy especially this month except ol hobbs here who has done NOTHING yet. Of course it doesn't help to be pitch dark out at 5 PM. I hate the time change in the winter months and wish they'd leave it alone.

Lindsay_D
12-19-2006, 05:59 PM
I wish the winter didn't bring any cold...I hate the cold so much! I can't wait to go back to California and no snow!

Severus

yeah everywhere...i live on Cape Cod and we got some bad snow like two years ago....It was like five feet on my driveway...it was only because we had a bad drift...but yeah it snows a lot down here. This year we only had one day of snow.

Last year it snowed DATD (<~Day after Turkey Day)....HAHA

Severus
12-20-2006, 04:47 AM

Abbeys_Mom
12-20-2006, 01:02 PM
It has only snowed once here this winter, it entirely up heard of. It's been beautiful for December. Instead of the usual -1 to -7C, It's been as warm as +12C this last week. Looks like it will be a green Christmas this year.

Lindsay_D

Here is Aus we are in the middle of that annual xmas heatwave, 35-45 Celcius, whatever that converts to.

Slinky_Bass
12-20-2006, 10:41 PM
Well, were not quite at heat wave status here yet, but I haven't had my heater on for a month now and my temp has been sitting nicely at 28 C.

Crackatinny: thats hot! I just clicked that you're working in celcius not farenheight, how are you keeping your fishies cool?

With the airconditioner on during the day and the heaters turned down they have been keeping a steady temp of about 80F

Green Christmas this year in Mi it looks like, too. I don't care much what it does as long as there is sunshine. Snow is lovely with the sun shining off it but then, not quite as nice as green. It's the snowing, blowing, freezing and ice I hate.

jman
12-20-2006, 11:34 PM
Man i been waiting for snow hear in MD but it hasn't come. What is a Christmas without snow?

Severus
12-21-2006, 04:45 AM
I dont think there is gonna be any snow in NJ either. The weather guys my predict it to get everyone hyped up but it wont be more than a few flurries if it even does snow

I would love a white XMAS

In my 38yrs I have seen it snow just twice in my hometown, both times in June, The 1st time it melted before it hit the ground (but still an unreal sight, the second time, you could have measured the cover with a micrometer, but again STUNNINg

jeffs99dime

If I had some snow (which is crazy, I'm in CANADA!) I would gladly spread it around. We were counting on there being snow at my in-laws ( they are in an area called "the snow belt") and even they don't have snow. I feel awful that my daughter has been practicing making snow angels for nothing.

jman
12-21-2006, 07:51 PM
