Adult jokes not sure of 4 forum

I recently started a thread for jokes, but like myself, at least 1 other on here was not sure what would be suitable to post, of cause sexual reference language etc is an issue with a joke thread.

So heres an idea, what do you all think of maybe getting a PM or email ring going where those with an adult joke can still share it, without those who may be offended stumbling across them.

Maybe those interested could say so here?, I dunno how we could set something like this up, (WILLIAM HELP PLS LOL).

Any ideas, or those for or against, let me know.

Of cause, Porn or total smut would still be unacceptable, just funny adult jokes.

Why do you need to review anything. If you would like to participate feel free although everyone included is "choosing" to participate and we are all "consenting adults". We are not including this as part of the site and we are private messaging each other so no harm is done to anyone. As well this thread is posted in the chatterbox section so it is also appropriate with regard to the topic. As I stated earlier I am an adult and do not need to be authorized to anything from anybody when it is done in private and with other consenting adults. All people wishing to participate fell free to email of PM me any joke you like. I to agree with Hobbs and Northernboy, I'm 38 and old enough to choose whether I want to recieve them or not, we are doing the right thing by only sending to consenting people who want to have a laugh. And no jokes of an adult nature will be posted on the site by any of us.

Oh....sorry "KING" I certainly don't want to upset you...We are a group not a monarchy. William is the admin although we are all here to contribute. What makes this site beyond the norm is that we have a extremely diverse group. Crackatinny has started a thread here that is in the nature of friendship and to think that you would attempt to "control" this good-natured fun is ridiculous. I am sorry but I disagree with you here. This site is about fish but also about making good friends, meeting new people and most importantly having fun. At least in my opinion......If I am wrong I am sorry, but somehow the few relationships I have formed here I believe will continue no matter what. I don't need any approval from you. I am here to make friends, not tell others how or what to do or what is right or wrong. Obviously there is a clear line of right or wrong and we have solved that by using the "private message" function of the site. I encourage all who wish to participate to join...new groups of friends and those I have yet to meet make AC the GREAT site it is!!!!!!!

I am at a loss how this simple, friendly thread got blown out of the water. Those of us that are "mature" are not even interested in xxx junk to began with.

This was simply a thread that if you wanted to trade jokes to say so and jokes would be traded. That's it.

Being a "mod" does not entitle us to censor the jokes of consenting adults or tell them what they can or can not do. We are nothing but another member here with the capacity to delete spam.

In every post that I have entered about the trading of the jokes I have stated NO PORN OR SMUT, and I am sure we are all mature enough that if this does happen, to send out a warning PM to the others, telling them not to accept from such and such.
By starting this thread, I am not trying to run the fun as you put it, (those of us with a sense of humour have fun on here anyway), this is just a way of sharing jokes behind the scenes that may be questionable in there reference.
If william is into that sort of jokes, he is more than welcome to join us, we would love to have him aboard, we have nothing to hide. In fact I noticed he had used a word in one of his posts recently that I would not have used on here, and I did not see anyone jump up and down about that and go on like a child.

Ok. Perhaps I should have stepped into this thread earlier to clarify where I stand in all this. What people send to each other via email regardless of whether they meat on AC or not has nothing to do with AC. I don't care and neither should anyone else on AC. However I will of course not stand for personal attacks etc made on ac members via mail etc. As far as Pm goes, what adult members send to each other via pm is not up to me to decide. I will not check what is sent via pm unless a serious crime is suspected. However if it was my choice I would prefer if you did it via mail.

I will not tolerate adult/sexual content or jokes being posted in the forums.
