WTB large tank

im in the market to buy a large tank 100 gallon or larger.. anyone know where one is??

really depends on your budget, roman, and if you prefer glass or acrylic tanks. glasscages.com stocks tanks up to 500 gallons, but will custom make you a tank to your specifications. Acrylic tanks can be any size and any shape. Place mine came from is wholesale only, but there are several sites that sell acrylic aquariums retail.

well im tryin to actually find a used one.. not wanting to spend a whole lot of money.. i would like to stay in the 500 dollar range.. just need a tank and stand. i got my 140 off ebay for 200 bucks.. tryin to find another good deal like that.

Just a idea but it may help you, i had my 75g made by a glazzing firm and it cost me half what a lfs would of charged me, mybe you could ring a local glazzing firm and see how it go's.

Craigslist has treated me well in the recent past. I just got a 40g and a 10g together for $40, with filters and heaters. You have to check almost daily to catch the good deals, but I've seen lots of large tanks in your range, even half that range. Around here anyway, I could find a 120g with a great wooden stand for about $250 almost any day if I check craigslist, and I don't live in a huge city (population 25,000ish).

Craigslist is also neat because you'll probably have to go pick it up. But that gives you an opportunity to inspect it before you hand over the cash.

Ditto on the Craig's List bit, you can find some good stuff on there if you keep an eye out.
