pregnant Mollie being "chased" alot! is it okay?

Alright..I have a female Mollie who is pregnant.. The 1 male in the tank won't leave her alone! He tries to mate with her all day long! Is it safe for her? Should I move her? move him? I have 1 5 gallon tank that I currently have 5 fry in (they are only 1.5 week old) but I have 2 10 gallon tanks I could set up if I had to.. should I? Will she be okay? There are 3 other girls in the tank (4 girls 1 male) but he only goes for the 2 he came home with.. he ignores the 2 I got later. any help or advice is great!

My male mollie did this to both of the females I have. You could separate him or all the females. He will always try to mate with them. You can leave them together but you will have fry every month if you want to deal with that.

what you can try is to removing him for some times and then add him again...
It'll change his rank in the tank and perhaps his way around the female...

You can also try to change some decoration in your tank, to give them an "new" environment.

If it's not working you can decide to add another male and female, if you have enough room in your tank...

Thanks.. I don't mind fry.. I have enough room for them for awhile at least.. Survival of the fittest and all that... I just wanted to be sure nothing bad would happen.. I might add a male/female out of the fry I have now.. do you know when Mollies can be sexed? They are only 1.5 week old now and I plan on leaving them in the tank they are in for a long while but if I can find a pair I can move them.

hmmmmm thats good to know.....i though you could sex them right away....i have 1 lone fry in my tank....just caught it today and isolated it with a snail as a friend

lol.. yeah, frisky little guy.. thankfully one of the gals he leaves alone is a tiny little Balloon Mollie.. she just seems too little for "that" lol
About the sexing.. I don't know if you can't tell right away.. I just know that I can't! lol Either I have all girls or I can't see the anal fin yet..
