Hello, I'm a first year college student currently savoring
some of the last years of summer vacation. I'm a radio dj at uclaradio.com
with growing obsession with art, archery, drums, and aquariums!

I'm not necessarily new to the world of aquariums but rather
new to actual proper care.
I've been enjoying fish tanks since I was a child.
My father has kept a pond in our backyard and we've tossed around
a few tanks over the years and gone through various species, from piranhas to puffer fish.
Now I just started my new 20 gallon tank with 12 tetras, 2 tiger barbs, to angelfish, and two bamboo shrimp. I've only had this tank up a little over a week and realized that I may have rushed things introducing fish too early and not letting my tank cycle long enough. So, in lieu of my impatience I figure I
should join a community where I can share my experience with fish and hopefully learn much more.
Anyways all longwinded explanations aside. Hello! I look forward to
meeting you all!
