I've been thinking of shell dwellers for quite some time (to put my ro waste water to some use) and that's one of the species that did cross my mind, but first i'm gonna have a go on breeding nannostomus mortenthaleri

what do you do with the fry -- do you sell or keep them?

miquel

no i dont keep them I soon wouldn't have enough tanks, I've some 400 young swimming her at the moment so I sell them to some fish stores and to people who want to have them, Jess(fishaliscious) has got some rams that I bred (not pinky and the Brain)

Great fish and photos! I especially like the A. mendezi. Have you had any breeding success with them?

Great pictures and fish.
I have to say I really love how the first two shots are obviously different, but the fish has an identical expression! Must be its "I'm gonna look surprised" camera face ;)

Beautiful photos and fish. Super-dooper job there.

You should give William permission to use some of your pictures in his articles. Credit for the pictures would be given to you, of course.

just got home from buying some new rams, I already had three wild caught specimens but they all turned out to be females and very shy. So I bought a tankbred male just to try and make the fish less shy. But this male died within a week, a friend who workes at that store made sure i would get a new fishfor free. Wich would come in yesterday so I went to the store today and imagine my suprise to see that they were wildcaught rams so I took th emost beautifull male and I couldn't resist to buy an female that truelly magnificent.
