Hi I was just wondering if a tank can be too much overgrown. My tank grows like crazy. I like the look of when its really full so i let it grow, but i was just wondering if this is bad for my fish.

I think the lampeyes like it as they're generally shy fish and they like to be covered. The cories love to big around the roots. And the cherry barbs will be moving soon but they are the same as all my other cherry barbs.

So i think the fish like it but i just wanted to check it isnt bad in any way.

Photos are below.

Long as the fish can move around freely, Tolley, it isn't overgrown. Trimming plants is just aesthetics, anyway, so if you like the way it looks and the fish are in great shape and can swim around, I wouldn't worry about it. Pretty tank, by the way.

I agree with fins_n_fur :) And I have to say... In my tanks the fish always seem to prefer the densely planted areas. I have a lot of fish in my 40g and I swear there are times when it just looks void of life because all the fish are in the densely planted parts.
