Just wondering if P. bridgesii and P. canaliculata can interbreed? I've had one of the latter for a few months, and thought it was a P. bridgesii. Recently I bought a P. bridgesii, and after reading about the different species today I have realised that my snails are not the same species. So just wondering if I'll be seeing hybrid babies?

Highly doubtful. Same Genus, yes, but just like neon tetras won't/can't mate with cardinal tetras, one species of snail won't/can't mate with another species.

Ok, just checking, as I know some closely related fish can interbreed.

Thanks.
