Anyone have any type of clown gobies, or experience with them?

I am planning on putting a pair of greens in my 29. They will probably be the first fish in there so they can settle in before the pair of percula clownfish go in. I was hoping someone had some so they could share exactly what all they have gotten them to eat, how well they did or are doing, etc. Any recommendations or comments are appreciated.

I plan on getting two smaller ones so that hopefully they have not switched gender yet so they are more likely to pair off. They will have multiple acropora skeletons throughout the tank so they will have the proper shelter and if desired they can be away from each other.

i have one in my 55g, mine eats frozen food and hikari pellets. He took the trip from the store to my tank well, and survived a beating from my dottyback.

They can be hard to acclimate. I tried a green and could never get him to eat. I think the yellows are a little hardier.

There not real tough fish. I had one in my 55g reef and he lived over a year but they are only estimated to live a year. Mine died of velvet because I introduced a Kole Tang that brought velvet into my aquarium. Besides the downside, they are very peaceful and like to hang around on your powerheads and on rocks. They have a real personality but they don't swim around hardly at all. Mine ate frozen.

I have (had?) a green clown goby in my 15 gallon nano reef. I never got mine to accept frozen or prepared foods but I did see it eat copepods off my live rock. I haven't seen it in a couple of months although I hear they are very good a hiding. They are very pretty fish but do not swim around much, mine would always hang around the powerhead or in the back around the live rock.

I have a yellow one in my 55g and hes always out chilling on the glass or a powerhead. When I put a frozen cube of brine in he'll go after it just like my other fish, cool little guy, thinking of getting another one
