I registered some time ago, but can for the life of me not remember or find any posts of myself.... If not, I apologise and would like to correct it by starting to post tonight.

This is my tank. Had some ups and downs but hopefully all is sorted....

Some updated pics of my tank since the "Chiller Incident" that "Boiled" all of my lifestock. Couple of months later and all is going well, except for the Aptaisia and some Algae, but working on that....LoL:

IS that a GSP coral that the clown fish is hosting in? And what is the picture of the white thing above the hosting picture?

The total water volume now is about 3500lt or 900 Gallons as I raised the display tank sides and added Surge boxes as well as a biggish refugium/overflow. There are pics of the display tank sizes as well as the sump if you check out the link. The starfish'es legs are about 450mm per leg or 17inches per leg. It is a Leiaster leachi (Spelling) Starfish. I have 02 of them in the tank, but the one is a tat smaller

The Smaller one before I put him in the tank:

It is a green carpet anemonie, and I am not sure which "white thing" you reffering to?? If it is the small round thing above the nennie in the same pic, it is a small pin cushion. Hope it helps

VERY NICE!!!!!!!!! That copper banded butterfly fish is simply a POTM winner, and if anyone does not vote for it in the POTM, it is because they didn't see it. Your tank it'self belongs in the TOTM as well, although that butterfly fish already did win the POTM - you just have to enter it and wait for all the votes to come to youthumbs2:

I'm sure it took him some time since he had to remodel his entire house! Now that's one dedicated hobbyist. He even has an underwater camera! :c10:

Thanks again for awesome response and all the praises, but believe me if I say I still have a long way to go before it will be filled with Coral. It is not easy to get Coral here by us, and if you do, you pay an arm and a leg.....

It took about a month to build and finish the tank....

The link tend to work fine for me, but if not, try this:

Now I want a concrete aquarium, lol. That looks like it belongs in a public aquarium, and I don't even want to know how much money you paid for the whole setup.

Click the links on his initial posts. It takes you step by step through the entire build process. Pretty amazing, time consuming, and I would have to imagine expensive. You should be very proud. Everything seems to enjoy being in there.

A+

Hi guys, nothing new, except for some extra Corals (Actually Frags) I received on Monday, will post pics a bit later. Yeah, time consuming is really an understated word. I (I have to give my wife credit too) spent the weekend taking out some liverock that was covered with "Short hardy Algae" and scrubbed them clean as well as Quick dipped them in RO Water to kill all unwanted "Critters". Very difficult as the tank is deeper than my arms reach...LoL (That is where the wife comes in- her arms are much longer than mine ...LoL). Also did some re-Aquascaping as I had to make place for some frags as well as to move some Corals over as they were not too happy where they were. Have not taken pics yet, but will do during the week- just finetuning the flow so that all the Corals will be happy... Dunno why "Softies" tend to Sulk....

Will keep you guys updated.

P.S.
Thank you for a really nice site and making us newbies and International Okes feel welcome... I mean it from the deepest bottom of my heart... :malelovies: :41: :22:
