ordered the wrong fish! what do i do now?

I was on aquabid a few days ago, and bid on some convict chiclid fry...i didnt know enough about them yet, or that they are from a different lake, etc etc etc...anyways, can i put them in my 55 (see sig), or should i sell them?

If they haven't been sent yet you can email the current owner and tell them you don't want them anymore.

By the way, your yoyo is a schooling fish, and they need to be kept in groups of at least 3. Otherwise they might get aggressive or shy.

Oh gez. Have you any friends with fish you can give him to or trade? How about your area paper for pick up only? Too costly to pay for shipping for one darned fish.

yea, i know about the YoYo, he is very shy...im getting him some friends in the next day or two...that was another **didnt research first** fish that i was debating keeping in this tank. The fish were shipped yesterday...i didnt think much about it until i went back and looked at the decripton of what i had bought. My LFS will prob take them in on trade for me...i was just wondering if they would get along in my tank or not.

f1 is the babies of a wild caught fish. f2 would be there babies and so on. You should find a lfs that will take the fish because they will die or kill the other fish in your tank.

Usually fish shops will buy fish, even if you didn't buy them from them in the first place. I would call a few local fish shops and ask if they'd be interested.

Convicts are popular fish and hopefully someone will take them off your hands. I have to admit it's one of the fish I'd least like to have. They are neat looking but wayyyy too aggressive for my taste and even worse at spawning time.

well its all working out because he hadn't sent them out on time so i explained the situation to him. very understanding and is giving me a "clean up crew" in stead...yea for more bristlenose plecos! Redkahuna on aquabid is the guy who's taking care of me :)
