Hongi Fry

One of my Hongi females just spat 7 fry, Im putting them in a seperate grow out tank, What is the best filter for the tank that wont suck them up?

I usually 'jury rig' the filter intakes with extra materials I have on hand to prevent the tiny fry from being drawn in.

For example attaching some blue filter padding around the intake (as seen with this day-old pseudotropheus demasoni fry here):

at the moment i have a corner filter running with very little pull, just enough to suck in the crap from the tank, which is minimal anyways and it seems to be going alright for the moment
