I have some juvenille snails and their shells are almost see through. Is this normal or am I missing some element for their shells? Wondered about calcium or something else, they are growing really fast and getting big. Please help me.

What is the KH or your water? Calcium, is an important elements for inverts as it will help strengthen their shell. I'd highly recommend checking your KH to get an idea of what your Calcium Carbonate levels are like

what kind of snails? Some, certain ramshorns as an example, just have clear shells.
Also what size are they? Most have clear shells when they are very small but the color should start to become opaque as the snail grows This usually occurs before 5mm shell diameter

they are a few months old about the size of a lima bean, I will have to buy a test for KH.
