I was getting very little light to the bottom plants,I hated to trim them out,they were beautiful.

Wow, those are really pretty. I can see why the plants on the bottom didn't get much light...those are some big pads!

I looked at the picture first and was wondering how you got light to the bottom plants...then i read :(

My floaters just came in today i'm hoping they do well and i should have plenty of space for them to reproduce before getting in the way.

I get to enjoy them like that for a few weeks at a time till it causes problems.I actually have 2 lily bulbs,1 plant I keep all the emergent leaves trimmed so it stays compact and doesnt get floaters.
