Right now I have 6 (I believe) male N. Multi's...I was thinking of trading them in for some other type of Tang. I really do not want shellies I think. Oh yeah, I have a S. Eruptus as well. What are some nice Tang's that I can put in a 30 gallon. Maybe assorted...maybe species.

The best one to ask about this subject would be sailor as he is the main Tanganyikan keeper around here.

You could go with [Only Registered Users Can See Links.] a 30 gal. They grow very very slow but would be a good fit for that size tank.
You could also go with [Only Registered Users Can See Links.], there are some very nice looking fish in this family, most only grow to 3 inches.

I can't find comps or julidochromis...but I can find red/orange Lelupi, Black Calvus (pearl, and yellow as well], and Brichardi. I am sort of attracted to all three of those. The Lelupi are an awesome color...would any of these be okay in a 30? How many?

You could keep one of each, possibly a pair of calvus. Brichardi and leleupi are nasty buggers when they spawn, and spawning brichardi will quickly overcrowd the tank.
A less commonly seen species is Variabilichromis moori, a smaller species similar to brichardi when spawning. Beautiful when mature, black w/blue edges on the fins, juvies are yellow.

I was thinking caudopuntatus now...how many males would be okay in the 30. It will be a while before the chicks arrive for them...
