So I was doing a good cleaning on the tank the other day and somehow ended up breaking the prominent ornament in my tank. So I decided this would be the best time to start converting my tank to a more natural look. I was just going to post the newest picture, but I thought you guys might want to see it from day 1 to today.

Thanks a lot for all the comments...
The fish seem happier now with all the new hiding spots. There's a lot more real estate for each of them to hide in. I don't see them nearly as often now.

WOW, I just love how tanks seem to transform themselves, I wish I'd taken more pictures of my tanks as they change. Yours have some a long ways, looks great!!

Thanks again... I keep working on it so one of these days I hope I can win totm!
Do you guys think I should stay with gravel, go to sand, or possibly a mixture of sand with gravel here and there throughout the tank?

I love electric yellow's :).
That center rock looks excellent as well. Ornaments (or are they rocks?) like that (are they ornaments or rocks?) cost like $50 at my local Petco. GJ4U

Yeah, it's just a large ornament that I found at Pet Smart. It was pretty expensive, like you said...
