They eat all snails and in the case of mine, fish eggs and sometimes fry.

i dont think there big enough to eat mystery snails...but they should eat those little nusent snails that sneak in with plants....i have 3 clown loachs and they dont bother my mystery snails at all (from the pic...clowns look similair to the yoyo except for the color and pattern

I have a group of 6 Angelicus loaches (Botia kubotai) coming this week. I've never seen them available locally, so I was quite happy to find some for a good price online. Overall not much different from yoyo's, social critters best kept in groups. Yoyo's are quite active fish in general, best to keep them in a 3-4' tank with plenty of caves/cover available.

the loaches i used to have are my favorite of all the fish i've kept so far. i had yo-yo's, clowns, zebra's and skunks. they are best kept in groups of their own or similar species. the skunks were too vicsious to stay with the others. very active and interesting to watch. i wish i could get more...anyone want to trade some for a lungfish? lol. jk, bf would never allow it.

My 2 YoYos are awesome. They decimated my snail problem in my 10 gallon. When they get bigger, I'll probably move them to my 55. Here's another link with different opinions on the little critters:

My kubotai arrived today, all alive and well. They're sharing the 30 with the L204's, hopefully the tank won't look so empty after they settle in.
