I have a problem and I am not sure what to do. I have a common pleco and I am not sure if I should keep him? I am getting a new tank (72"x18" is the footprint - 125 gal) I WANTED one that was a little bigger than 18", but I am not rich. SO do I keep my common pleco? I can give him to my LFS that I ordered my tank from but I don't know if they will inquire about size of tank if they sell him. At the same time if/when he gets to 16" or bigger my tank will be to small and it will be REALLY hard to rehome him. I am not sure? I have had him for a year, and I like him, but also really want to make sure he doesn't end up in some 10 gallon tank like the poor pleco my niece has. opinions?
